Heritage Paths - The Campsie Fells

The project recently ended its first three year project to identify historic paths, research them and promote them and this website is the principal fruit of that project. The project is continuing but will concentrate its activity to the area of the Campsie Fells - an area that contains considerable historic routes that have been unused regularly for a long time. The website and the book that is being created will continue to have a remit of the entire country but our signposting and leaflets will be targetted at the Campsie Fells area. We are also creating a dedicated site on the website for the Campsie Fells project area and if you click on the link below you will see all the paths we have uncovered in the area so far.
